Do I Have That Book Tag?

You would think I have every kind of book possible but apparently not…

See this is why I shouldn’t be stopped from hoarding hundreds of books.

*looks down at her weeping wallet*

Okay fine, I get your point.

Anyway, a while ago I saw this super interesting tag trending on booktube and it was so much fun to watch my favourite booktubers scramble to find their books. And then my wonderful friend Sahi tagged me for the same tag but on her blog and I legit gasped. Sahi has some of the most fun and interesting tags on her blog and getting tagged for them is a bonus when you’re her friend so go check her blog out!

Interview With Author Sandhya Menon

Hello everyone!

It’s been a long time since I last held an author interview, I think that was probably the beginning of 2018? So basically it’s been too long and now here I am with an interesting interview with one of my favourite YA authors. If you follow me on any social media site you will know that I am an enormous fan of Sandhya Menon and keep yelling at people to go read her books. I’ve especially been fawning over her latest book, There’s Something About Sweetie which I shall forever treasure and hold close to my heart.

So let’s welcome the queen of desi YA books, Sandhya Menon herself!

The Pancake Book Tag

Are you drooling yet? Because I totally am!

I’m a huge pancake fan, it’s my favourite breakfast and my favourite thing to cook. You can constantly find me experimenting with pancakes in the kitchen and find my friends drooling on instagram 😉

AND NOW YOU SAY PANCAKES WITH BOOKS?

I remember seeing this tag float around and wishing someone would tag me even though I’m drowning in tags like a pancake drowns in syrup. It’s brutal.

And then my lovely friend Tiffany tagged me and I praised my lucky stars. Tiffany is the absolute best and she has such a pretty, now self-hosted, blog that you all absolutely need to check out! Okay now let’s get started with eating pancakes answering some questions.

Guess That Book By The Cover

Have you ever looked at a book cover and found it so stunning that you feel you could stare at it for a thousand years? Have you felt like that about almost every book?
Well if you answered yes to either of those question then you’ve got a bit of luck on your side.
Today we’re gathered on my blog to play a very interesting bookish game that is going to test your memories(uh oh) and how much attention do you really pay to book covers(wohoo!)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

So I will basically be describing the book covers in a few sentences and you will be trying to guess which book I’m talking about! Almost all of these books are 2019 releases but a couple backlist books are present as well. You click on ‘show answer’ for the correct answer to be revealed. Here’s an example of how it would go.

Description: ‌Supernova half-naked golden boy covered with tattoos is standing behind dark buildings. There are emerald ruins in the front.

TBR for Asian Lit Bingo + Asian Readathon

Hi everyone!

I’m a teeny bit late with this post but let’s just ignore that, okay?

Let me just start off by saying that I love readathons! My favourite part is probably making up my TBR for the readathon, especially when I’m trying to go for multiple readathons and merge all the TBRs to the best of my abilities.

This month I’m participating in three readathons, one of them being the Avenger Readathon which is uptil 14 May. But I’m not here to talk about that. May is the month of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the bookish community is surely embracing it with utmost enthusiasm!

There are two readathons about Asian books and authors up right now, both lasting for the month of May. I mean how could I say no?

So let’s check out my TBRs for both these readathons! 🙂
