End of the Year Book Tag 2021

The end of the year is almost upon us! Cue me racing to get in some end of year posts and reading done. And of course, how could I miss out on the end of the year book tag? 🙂

End of the Year Book Tag 2021

ARE THERE ANY BOOKS THAT YOU STARTED THIS YEAR THAT YOU NEED TO FINISH?

Yeah, I’m currently reading two books: Maybe You Should Talk to Someone and an e-arc of The Bone Spindle. I definitely need to finish The Bone Spindle by the end of the year but I’m aiming to read the other one as well. Fingers crossed!

DO YOU HAVE AN AUTUMNAL BOOK TO TRANSITION INTO THE END OF THE YEAR?

No, I really don’t read books according to the weather or the month so I don’t have any autumnal book to transition with. I just read whatever I’m in the mood for 🙂

IS THERE A NEW RELEASE YOU’RE STILL WAITING FOR?

I just checked my Goodreads shelves but no, I don’t think I’m waiting on any releases. I think a few of them got pushes to January because of the pandemic so I’m all set for this year.

WHAT ARE THREE BOOKS YOU WANT TO READ BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR?

Um, apart from the two books I said I need to finish, I have like a list of books I really want to get to but I know I won’t! I think the top three would be: Starfish, Crier’s War and Circe. All of these were on my 5 star predictions for 2021 and now I have to race against time to try and read them… Good luck to me :/

IS THERE A BOOK YOU THINK COULD STILL SHOCK YOU AND BECOME YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OF THE YEAR?

I would hope so, since I still have to read three of my 5-star predictions, any or all of them could still become one of my favourites of 2021.

HAVE YOU ALREADY STARTED MAKING READING PLANS FOR 2020?

Kind of! Nothing has been set in stone but I know I’ll be participating in Beat the Backlist 2022 as well as the Pondathon in terms of readathons and reading challenges. I have a couple of books that I’ve planned for in January so I guess I have been planning for 2022.

What are you reading plans for 2022 if any?

Are you too racing to finish off some books before the year ends?

How’s your Goodreads goal looking? I think I’m 10 books behind so I’m looking to read some short stories and still make it!
